Hii, I'm Yvonne Hsiao — a designer with a multidisciplinary lens.
My foundation in mechanical engineering, minor in CS, and focus in HCI and psychology give me the tools to design across systems, behaviors, and emotions.
A formative summer as a behavioral technician taught me how to read between the lines — a skill I now use to decode user needs and design with precision and care.

My creativity is powered by mood boards, motion graphics, and fashion trends — I treat style like strategy and design like storytelling. Every project I take on sparks something new in me, and I love that UX allows me to wear many hats, while still styling them well ;)

One of my proudest moments? Winning first place at my very first hackathon — WeHack — not because I had the flashiest idea, but because our user experience made people feel something. That’s what I always aim for: design that resonates

P.S. Try hovering over the photo ;)
When I’m not designing, I’m probably painting tiny canvases — aka minimalist nail art (yes, the clean lines must be perfect). I also love traveling, though I learned the hard way that walking 30,000 steps a day in Japan might just land you in a wheelchair.
Lately, I’ve been obsessed with...
